Bernard Chang artist/designer, best known for his work in the comic book industry and entertainment design. Bernard has worked on some of the most iconic superhero books, including WONDER WOMAN, SUPERMAN, SUPERGIRL, XMEN THE NEW MUTANTS and is currently collaborating with our mutual friend Gene Luen Yang on DC’s Monkey Prince.

It was great to catch up with Greg and hear about the ins and outs of the film production process. 290. Gene Luen Yang on writing Shang Chi, American Born Chinese and Monkey Prince

Gene Luen Yang is an award wining author and comic creator of American Born Chinese which is soon to be a television show on Disney+. He also shares updates on DC’s The Monkey Prince and Marvel’s Shang Chi. Gene is creating a new graphic novel called Lunar New Year Love Story with LeUyen Pham and an adaptation of video games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

Sacha Coward is a LGBTQ+ historian, tour guide and escape room designer from London. I could’ve conversed with Sacha for hours about LGBTQ+ history, mermaids and vampires. In the US we are honoring Pride Month, and I am grateful to Sacha for teaching me about the history of Pride and how the LGBTQ+ culture has evolved over the years.

Phil Jimenez is an Inkpot, Diamond, and Wizard-award-winning writer and artist who has worked for DC Entertainment, Marvel Entertainment, and a host of other comic book companies for nearly 30 years.

He is best known for his work on Tempest, The Invisibles, New-X-Men, Wonder Woman, Infinite Crisis, Amazing Spider-Man, and now Wonder Woman: Historia, the Black Label graphic novel written by Kelly Sue DeConnick who I had on the show a few weeks ago.
